Before I say anything else, let me just say that I am painfully aware of my mistakes in the anatomy. It's not that I don't know or don't care, but I can't figure out how to make good anatomy with the new designs. Personally, I think I did pretty good. Especially considering it's MS Paint with a mouse.
OKAY! So, yes, I'm still hyped about Sonic Boom. The designs don't bother me at all, the game- even with it's awkward-looking models- looks like it'll be awesome, and I'm definitely finding some way to watch this cartoon.
My only real fears are what they'll do with the characters of Knuckles and Amy since we haven't seen much aside form Amy apparently being awesome all the sudden (she lands like a friggin' ninja in that trailer). I just hope Knuckles isn't a giant idiot all the time and that Amy isn't that stereotypical "I'm the only girl in the group so I have to be a perfect role-model for little girls and be the only one with any sense in this team." But I think SEGA officials should be smart enough to not let that happen. ...Right?
Still debating on weather or not to put in a background...
And sorry for all the Sonic Boom hype.

I heard of this recently and I don't mind their designs much. Even though I don't read them,I've seen comic pages of the sonic comics here and I'm assuming their looks here are based there since they all look older. Nice work.

I'm not sure what the base for their designs was, honestly. All I know is they were made to:
a) better represent their skills (Knuckles being the strong one, Tails being an inventor, et cetera)
b) they now look more adventure ready.
Then again I don't read the comics either (never really cared for 'em personally) so maybe there is something there this could be based on? I'm not sure.
