which program do you use to draw?

I use an old version of Photoshop. I don't have any training so I do things kind of weird. I draw on paper, then I take a picture of the drawing and open it in Photoshop 7. I use the pen tool to lay down smooth lines on a new layer over my pencil line. Then I add color on different layers.
