Description: Future champ in the making, or that's what the guy outside the pokemon gyms will tell you, at least.

Personality: One of Basti's more prominent traits is his desire for acknowledgement, or to be one of the cool guys, which is no small part in why he wants to be the champion so bad. This most likely is due to the social isolation he suffered in the early years living in Aspertia city. It has affected him in other ways as well: He's seems heedless of what you could call "social formality", for example, he might loudly proclaim a mistake he's made, in an overly dramatic fashion, out in public, regardless of who's watching. On a more positive note, he seems to know what he's doing, as far as training and pokemon knowledge is concerned.

But will he ever be able to realize his dream? Only time will tell.
