The model challenge at was that we create our own outfit inspired by the story that features the character
I got the Sleeping beauty and The Little Match Girl

Now I wanted to be as accurate as possible so I went and checked when they were both written.

It turns our The Sleeping Beauty's earliest known version was written between 1330 and 1344 so I looked up some dresses from that period hence the medieval-ish dress.

The Little Match Girl was first published in 1845 (and that story always,ALWAYS makes me cry) so I ,again,looked up children's dresses for that period(as the main character in the story is a little girl)
I found a really nice deep red dress that seemed a perfect inspiration for this outfit as it reminds me of Christmas (and The Little Match Girl takes place on New Year's Eve) so this is the little girl's dress after she dies
and goes to Heaven with her grandmother.
