Description
After a string of white-haired dudes, here's an equally exotic lady with long silver mane: Shiera Seastar, once known as Shiera Waters, the illegitimate daughter of mysterious Sweet Serenei of Lys and the infamous king Aegon IV Targaryen, who went down in history as Aegon the Unworthy. Or, I finally did that long over-due photoshoot of my not!Targaryen gal that I debuted this March.
To my knowledge, this is the first Shiera Seastar cosplay on the internet - and given that there is no even any official art of her, I designed the costume myself, based on George R.R. Martin's descriptions. Her trademark mismatched eyes - and the necklace made to match them - are there all right.

I would love to know what prompted her to take the surname Seastar over Waters. Was it just to obfuscate the bastard title or was it for another reason. All I can think about is the "bleeding star" in the Azor Ahai prophecy and wonder. I really think there's a Mel connection with her. Either Mel is the daughter or Mel is her. Ah who know. GRMM is an evil genius. I love that you cosplayed not only a historic character, but one that is rarely spoken of, but who may play an integral role in the Song.
