Thanks! It's very heavy and difficult to walk in, but it sure does look glamorous!

Really impressive. Very nice, seamless integration of stock elements. Dress looks like a lot of work and love were put into it. Cosplay does the character justice.

Thanks, knowing that my cosplay does the character justice is the biggest compliment I can get

Thanks! You have awesome stuff in your gallery too, I'm tempted to do a costume inspired by one of your character designs

Really??  Thank you.  Which design in particular are you thinking about?

I like the game character designs you did, and I could definitely see myself wearing the crinolines (but of course), but also that black armor on that white-haired elven-looking dude, that one looks pretty badass

Your costume making ability is extremely impressive, it would be awesome to see any of my designs bought to life.  Although I did design those very quickly, they could probably do with a second draft.

I'll probably work on an ambitious original character project later this year, and it will involve a rather complex armor. I'll let you know about it, if maybe you're interested to contribute with some design ideas...

This, at first, does not appear to be a cosplay. 'Tis a compliment to your craft skills, I believe. Very well done!

It's a compliment to my friend's photo editing skills, for sure - without her playing around with the backgrounds, this would have been just an ordinary pic.

But the interventions were made only in an attempt to reconstruct the poster for Morrigan's limited edition action figurine, and mostly in the background only. So yeah, that's me in my costume there, which looks like that in real life too

Neversprout In reply to ferasha [2015-02-10 20:26:31 +0000 UTC]

Yes I think it's everyone's fine work here that pulls everything together so well and that creates such a surreal appearance. The background is one thing but the flawless makeup and the dress itself are very well done. And then there's you the cosplayer, of course. You're a great Morrigan! Anyway, my point is, well done.

Had hard time figuring if this is a figurine or a real person. Great job!

ferasha In reply to Gagomk [2015-02-09 21:35:36 +0000 UTC]

Nah, it's just me, and I'm not even that heavily photoshopped - it's the editing and the background that give the picture that surreal look. But I guess you know you've nailed it with your cosplay when people cannot see at first glance whether you're a person or a screenshot

Gagomk In reply to ferasha [2015-02-09 23:07:17 +0000 UTC]

Yea, it could have been easier if the background was some more natural picture like forest or mountain and etc. Still, your outfit and make up are superb.

We deliberately went for the "unatural" feeling, as we wished to recreate the mood from this promo poster for Morrigan figurine: www.gamingheads.com/index.php?…

It does amaze me, however, that in the end I look more statuesque than the figurine itself...
