A very special edit of Griffith. See the sfumato landscape in the background? We wanted to achieve the effect of an old school painting, of how a Renaissance master would capture the portrait of a military leader of Griffith's caliber: beautiful, arrogant, untouchable. Because, see, IF ONLY Griffith played his cards right till the very end, IF ONLY he didn't let himself be swayed by "oh-my-God-he-left-me-he-abandoned-me-what-am-I-to-do", IF ONLY his reaction to an emotional blow was not a short-sighted self-destructive act of sheer stupidity - a portrait just like this one would one day hang in the Throne Room, framed in gold and titled "The King in his Youth". But nooo.
