The MSA’s headquarters are located in the upper levels of Delta Tower, and the Chairman Office was almost 1500 meters above the street level, it gave him a superb view over the eastern ridge and the Maelstrom, the atmospheric phenomena that kept sealed the pocket dimension that contains the Central District and its satellite cities.

The agents Bock and Porter escorted the candidate to the Chairman’s Office in the tower. Mr. Ronnin Kuritosu was a top official at the MSA, the Deputy Head of the Regularization and Control Department as a matter of fact. This was the final step of the selection process, which included some gruesome physical and psychological tests.

- “Well… so you’re the new candidate of the Agency, Mister…?”- asked the Chairman.

- “Dunkel sir, Howen Dunkel”- Answered Howen.

- “Skip the sir son, just call me Ron. The aptitude test results are quite impressive; you managed to dodge four bullets from Vanessa while Don was trying to squash you.”- Then he looked at the new recruits left hand, it was bandaged. –“And the last round got you in that hand. Don’t worry; tomorrow you’re going to be like new; the Trans-M shot that the doctors gave you will regenerate the bone tissue pretty quick”.

- “As matter of fact I think he will completely healed tonight” – intervened Agent Bock- “He was able to grab Vanessa’s gun, by the wrong end of the barrel… don’t worry kiddo, it’s a beginner’s mistake”.

- “I know that Don, Vanessa’s report was very detailed” - said Mr. Kuritotsu, and turning to Howen again he continued the interview – “You´re from the Fifth District, don’t you?”

- “Yes sir, I mean, Ron. I arrived three weeks ago with my cousin, Nand Weiss” – answered Howen.

- “Aaah, you came with a relative. That’s not common; usually the people that immigrate here come alone. It’s your cousin as young as you?”

- “He’s a little older than me… I’m not really sure for how much. We went to the same school, but his major is in engineering. He’s very intelligent.”

- “Indeed. I read his file while checking your background. He applied to the Logistics Department at the Transportation Secretariat. If he’s accepted he will work in Gamma Tower, which is the nearest one”. – Ron paused for a couple of seconds while giving a deep look at Howen, and then asked the last question of the interview– “But you decided to major in Administration. Why do you want to be an Agent of the Bureou instead of applying to work for the Central Government?”

At the moment that Howen heard that question his mind went blank, in fact he didn’t remembered why and even how exactly applied to the job… he just remembered that he was having that conversation with Nand when the maglev train was approaching the outskirts of Limbo City: Why did he wanted to be an Agent. However Howen’s lips moved on their own and he didn’t heard his own voice when he answered, but whatever he said was exactly what Ron was expecting to hear. Don just smiled and Vanessa gave an enigmatic look at the Chairman. He grinned at Howen and then he finished the interview with: “Welcome to the Migration Service Agency, Mr. Dunkel, tomorrow start the best days of your life”.

Wow, this took longer than I tought. This scene occurs a day before the Induction Day , and I wanted to give a little background of the main characters of this story. I want to make a graphic novel of this story, so there's gonna be several moar pics like this on DA rather sonn. In the meantime, ENJOY!!!
