Description
This drawing rightfully belongs in the scrap section, as it is only a sketch, but to give the E/C shippers their due since the last picture was of Raoul, I thought I would include it here for awhile.I plan on doing a formal drawing of this with Erik (as Red Death) pulling Christine against him--but honestly, I am not sure if it will work, so I would love your opinions.
Done with a mechanical pencil and blending stump.

Everything about Christine...her facial feature are just off. I drew that pic as a sketch of sorts, as accuracy wasn't my concern. The phantom is slightly better...but only slightly. But as you can see by my other work, when I do a serious drawing, accuracy is very important to me.

There are some things in the picture that are a tiny bit off, but it's a pretty good sketch. If you do change it, it will be interesting to see how it turns out afterwards. It's strange how the smallest of adjustments can make a whole lot of difference.

O.o wow....this is good...Excellent realism! While there are problems (which I won't go into, given that I'm a random stranger and you've already noticed them *hides*), I love it....there's a lot of emotion in there. And lust.

Yeah, I can't wait to scrap this thing. There is about 15% of Erik that I actually took some real time to get right. The rest I just blazed through to get done, and it shows.
One of these days I might get around to doing a true drawing of this...I will have to see.

I almost can see why you want it as a scrap, but that still doesn't make it anything other than Fun. Much, much Fun. It's a great concept, isn't it? *voice drops to silky growl* I had...a *wonderful time*...drawing mine. (Again with the reference photos), but I'm not half as decent a realist as you are, so. I did mention I'm jealous, right?
--And "scrap" here meaning only that her right eye is slightly oddly placed, her ear seems low, and her jaw may or may not be off-center, which are the only things that seem to throw it off balance. Aside from that, this is NOT a sketch, if only because it makes the rest of us look bad. *glowers*

*grins* thanks! I guess I want to put it under the catagory of scrap because I didn't spend the usual time on it that I do most my drawings. (For example, Music of the Night was a good 5-7 hrs, while this one was about 2). That being said, there are a lot of details that I would normally pay more attention to that I glossed over in this sketch, such as Christine's nose, mouth, shading.....frankly, just about everything with Christine. Erik I spent more time on...because, well, it's Erik.
I am glad you liked it, though.
