Description

Over five years ago, I redrew the rose hip fairy (from the flower fairies I always loved as a kid). I meant to do the willow fairy too, because she was my favorite. But I didn't feel like I could do her justice. I was amazed I'd done as well as I had with the rose hip fairy, and wasn't sure I could repeat that feat. So I waited. And waited. And finally a few months ago, I thought I was up for it. But then I didn't have time for a couple months. I finished coloring her a couple weeks ago.

And somehow I ended up making her look a lot older. Apparently I'm incapable of drawing children. But I'm proud of it other than that!
