Well, I first make a sketch in pencil and then with the pen tool photoshop follow the lines of the original design and make a path vectors. At first it was very difficult and I were ugly drawings. I Know exactly how you feel, it sucks to draw in photoshop, thats why i downloaded adobe illustrator, the lines are so perfect on it, its too much easier, but i have to learn the techniques, because its a little bit complex.
