Merida is the princess that reminds me most of my sister; they share an incurable stubborn streak and a connection to the magical, even if it isn't as strong as other characters/people in their lives, not to mention Irish/Scottish heritage. To add to the parallels, Brave was released on my sister's eighteenth birthday, marking the start of her journey into adulthood as Merida's first premiered on movie screens worldwide.
This picture is lovely, especially with the ethereal Wisp lights.
