I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO USES KRITA?!?! I am surprised to see someone use it

Haha, Krita is pretty cool. I really want to learn it better and make a comic with it or something. All those perspective and panel tool and stuff are really neat. I also love anything that's free, lol.

I don't typically use the filters adjustments and stuff because they're so hard to keep track of.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same way. I would love to learn to use more features, but I'm lazy and end up just using a plain hard brush for most everything, heh.

My main problem is I never need to use the features, so I have no need to learn them. Also, I'm having difficulty interpreting your statement. Do you mean to say you typically only use one or two brushes, or that you only use brushes for a majority of the picture?

I guess I meant both, heh. I mostly use just the brush tool and almost exclusively use just a plain round brush. I guess I've never had much need for all the other feature either.

I have no say in your style, but may I suggest experimenting with new brushes? I must admit very few are useful, but in my quest to try every preset brush available, I discovered some I really like, such as two pastel-like brushes, a pencil-like brush, a calligraphy-like brush, and 4-5 brushes to apply tones. Admittedly though, I would like to see the tones more varied. What I don't understand are the two "paintbrush" defaults, which seem to do nothing more than create an eyesore of a jagged white line with a black string of pixels in the center. For a default brush, it seems quite pointless.

Haha yeah, I don't know what's going on with that default brush either.

I do appreciate the suggestion about trying out some different texture brushes. I've been messing around with the Art Academy games lately and have become quite fond of the emulated pastels and colored pencils. Trying out some similar brushes in Krita would be a great idea.

It's actually pretty fun trying them because some of them are really random
