Fun~! Great range of colors here. I especially like the carriers; you gave them a unique shape but they're still instantly recognizable.
Nice bit of detail- as I can actually see individual overlords floating about within the hive cluster.

I really liked the original carrier design that it somewhat resembled to a whale or a fish, the design in SC2 looks more like a golden jewel spaceship, which is cool too, but I wanted to bring back that "fish" vibe here.

I'm sure you know the backstory right? The carrier was going to be removed from SC2 and the design they used was meant for a completely different unit called the Tempest (not the big flying crescent, but a blue ship that would launch spinning stars at the enemy).
But yeah, the fish was still more iconic by far.

Ah yeah.. It was a questional idea to begin with why they wanted to replace the Carrier with the Tempest... its like replacing the Battle Cruiser or the Ultralisk.. you just dont mess with those kinda iconic units.
