I just started painting to see what would come out this evening.

I think birds would distract from the rest of the image. It feels to be all about the naturalΒ beauty of the forest early ior late in the day. Its an often ignored time,Β where its not bright and orange, lit by the sunshine, but after the sun had set and night starts to cover the land in a blanket of shadows. Tucking it in for bedtime. ^^
