And best of all, he eventually grows up to know that he takes whatever he has and works with it, to make the best of what is still in his reach, even that’s only a fraction of his greatest dreams… dreams he might never realize. That and being friend to those grieving and alone, afraid, forgotten, those who feel hopeless, and more, makes lives worth it to live.

Evraen has learned not to take family for granted. Family makes adventures less scary, and fonder memories of them. But finding family doesn’t always mean finding who you’re related to by blood—even blood relatives can can be disloyal, and willing to leave you in the cold… Loyalty makes you family. When you find that, more victories becomes possible.

Keys doesn’t have many victories to his name. Most are failures, and they string together. But boy when those victories come, they are so precious.
