Will there be more Sonic characters and shipping in the Eggman Empire of Equestria?

These are the questions I often get in the comment box and here I will address them.

Sonic characters
So far there's Eggman, Cubot, Orbot, Mephiles, a GUN-defecting OC, and entire legions of the Eggman Empire.

Will Sonic and his friends make an appearance, I will never say throughout the story.

What about other characters? You'll be surprised.

Shippings
The Eggman Empire of Equestria is about on how Eggman and his crew handle this world of Equestria. For shippings, I'll go one by one based on race and series.

•Human shipping
The only humans at present are Eggman and Mod, my male OC. I'm not exactly a fan of yaoi, so it's a no go.

•Mobian shipping
Mephiles is the only one currently shown in the story, so it's really no use pairing him with other Mobians if none are around.

•MLP shipping
Well, there's the canon ones where characters are officially married: Mr. and Mrs. Cakes, Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. For ones not engaged or don't have children, I'm going to say unlikely because it's kinda boring.

Fluttershy and Big Mac? Cheerilee and Big Mac? Mane with background ponies? That's too predictable. I say so because, well, everypony already knows one another in their neighborhood. There's endless possibilities for fans to pair them or have them had feelings for one another. To me that's boring because you can always see that happening.

So yeah, I will not be making MLP pairings in the EEE.

•Sonic X MLP pairings
There's the common ones in dA with Sondash, Appleknux, Fluttertails, and Shadtwi. I support them, but whether or not they will be present in the story; I will not say. Mainly because the Sonic characters are not even there. I mean, how can I pair Shadow with Twilight if they haven't met each other. Shadow and the Sonic cast don't even know about the realm of Equestria. Only the Eggman Empire got firsthand knowledge and experience.

One thing to note is that the Eggman Empire of Equestria is really my first fanfic. Crossovers are typically the fanfics I often read. If I were to make a shipfic, Sonic, or MLP, I have to go through their crossover first, see how the story and reception turn out, and then I can move on to future projects.
