The Beiyang [G]overnment (北洋政府) ... refers to the government of the Republic of China, which was in place in the capital city Beijing from 1912 to 1928. It was internationally recognized as the legitimate Chinese government.

This was sorta a commission from some dude on instagram who requested the slitted "Asian eyes" but as a Chinese myself I'm not too big a fan of it, so I've made two versions: one in the style I would usually draw it in, and one in the style that the client wanted.
