Glad I can occasionally return a fraction of the food for thought you & your buds ladle out.

Thanks for setting the record straight on gargoyle sexual dimorphism (or the lack thereof). Come to think of it, *now* I recall a trio of Brit 'goyles with animal-pattern noggins (including a horse-muzzled female), though I missed most of the episode in question...except for the ending, which included a Battle of Britain flashback (were you aware 'goyles could run down WWII-era fighters? News to me). Anyhow, props to the creators for dodging the "fugly male, foxy female" species-trope.
Several random musings:
*Perhaps Demona could approach Shego for whatever fell ends with a whopping carrot to dangle (and I'm not talking Kimmie in manacles; that happens often enough, subtext or not): a replication/modification of the spell which granted her human form during the day. Having completely missed the story arc where "Ms. Destine" came by said glamour, said device may be far too plot/circumstance-specific for either new 'goyle's use...but who says Kim or Shego need to find out before they've unwittingly set some heinous plan in motion?
*As for payback...I'm now visualizing a grand-mal climactic midair frenzy as Demona & Our Heroines, locked in a godawful slashing, thrashing tangle, bounce back & forth 'tween two skyscrapers/smokestacks on their way to that sudden stop at the pavement. As they pass through, say, the 40-foot mark, Demmy manages to boot/zap/toss Kim into some sort of obstruction (telephone pole? streetlight? Big neon sign?); unfortunately for her, this leaves Shego free to feed the red-and-blue bitch a point-blank double dose of the Green Magic, blasting her straight down into an inconveniently placed gasoline tanker. The resulting pyrotechnics nearly knock Shego outta the sky as well, and by the time Team KiGoyle has recovered/reassembled, Demona's holed up somewhere to lick her wounds & stew.
Shego: "Should've forecast this shitstorm a week in advance. Blue, megalomaniac, redheaded...my Axis of Aggravation."
Kim: (prods her with an elbow spur)
Shego: "GAAAH! Case in point."
*Oddly compelling thought: Rufus as a Bronx-esque guardbeast, or at least palling around with the big blue brute (who remains one of my faves).
If any of that stuck to the wall of your frontal lobe, I'd be astounded & delighted.

First off, I'm just guessing this change came as a surprise, given the catastrophic wardrobe damage both parties have suffered. Secondly...damn, but I'm running on critical fumes here. Points of positive interest:
-Shego's horns, as noted by others...is it just me, or are female 'goyles generally rendered rather daintier (and more uniformly humanoid, especially in facial structure) than a sizable percentage of the males? These pointy bits, combined with that ragged mane, reflect her aggressive edge to a T.
-Various & sundry appendage-spurs; I especially dig Kim's scythe-shaped wing-hooks and that pair rising from Shego's shoulders.
-That spiffy little draconic/pterosaur-ish rudder tipping Shego's tail...no shortage of bells & whistles for her.
-As ever, the eyes have it in your pics, although I don't recall many 'goyles with slit pupils (unless that's just a trick of the light). Pure fierce confidence.
-One pointless note: that spike on Shego's right shoulder looks placed a bit far back when compared to its counterpart on her left.
Cute, original piece here...and as far as overlapping obsessions go, I've seen (and contemplated) crazier. At least demented physical transformations, be they triggered by mystic forces, toxic runoff or mad gengineering, are in no short supply for either franchise.

Well I don't really think of them as proxies for Gargoyles characters. Just how I imagine they'd look as Gargoyles.
Still, I'm very happy to hear that you like it. ^_^

They certainly are similar but I think I added my own spin on things, like Shego's horns. ^_^

Actually, they're not any of the existing goyles... Festum asked bout that, but I suggested making them original. Hence Shegoyle's demonic horns and Kim's shredded mission gear

A bit of an idea has popped into my head; though it's more of an intro than a full story idea but here it is.
A reclusive eccentric known for collecting oddities and rare items has come out of seclusion and brought part of his vast collection out for viewing to the public (as he's known to do every once in a while). Kim figures somebody is going to try and come and steal something since much of the collection is so valuable, so she decided to hang around to keep an eye on things. Sure enough Kim eventualy spots someone slipping into the place where the items are on display, Shego.
Kim goes in after her and the two begin to fight. During the fight Shego grabs something that looks really valuable to her, a jeweled gargoyle figurine. The two begin to struggle over it and during this the eccentric comes in and sees the pair.
Turns out the eccentric is much more than he seems, he is a sorcerer and he is not pleased to see people trying to steal something of his and fighting amongst his collection. After noticing what it is they're fighting over he tells them if they're so interested in gargoyles then perhapes he can help them; he raises his hand and the last thing Kim and Shego remember before falling unconscious is a bright flash of light.
When they come to Kim and Shego find themselves alone in an empty room, the sorcerer and his collection are gone. Then they notice each other and certain changes that have happened to them, they've been magiked/cursed into gargoyles.
Neither are pleased of course; not only do they have to accept the fact that they've been transformed and how others react to their new appearences, they must somehow find the sorcerer and convince him to undo what he did.
Well that's the idea so far anyway. How's it sound?

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'd try to make said wizard a Gargoyles canon character personally.

I'd just have to figure out which character would be the best to use for the story. Hmmm... I think it may be time to watch my DVDs to refresh my memory of the cast ^_^ Been awhile since I've watched the show.
