so.. I guess you should watch it to understand..
So.. Kovu and Kiara as Romeo and Juliet.
I'm sorry but I don't have power to explain everything
Just the basics..So.. that's how the real Romeo and Juliet ended. Kovu (Romeo) died and Kiara (Juliet) killed herself.. it has many versions how, here she cut her wrists
I LOVE this picture, tho I can't draw manes, rocks, nights, grass, Kiaras
I need to improve 
But I like it overallThey are both crying, and Kiara's smiling cause she will be with Kovu soon.. it's quite sad..
I'm glad they didn't end like this in TLK 2

A very interesting take on an alternate ending to this film, though I doubt the pride would unite as smoothly as in the original. The Outsiders pretty much disowned Kovu and I bet Zira wouldn't bat an eyelid at his death, though maybe Vitani would.

Isn't lion king kinda like the Shakespeare story hamulet? My ex told me it kinda was. But now i guess there's too lion king movies with the Shakespeare Β inspired story's in it

Aww ROMEO AND JULIET, the play and TLK2 are so sweet, and very similar ... Love both! The difference of the two is that the prides were technically one big family, just that there was a bad side of it and a good side to it because Zira was Simba's auntie, who he banished to the outlands because I guess she killed kopa. Nuka, and Vitani were his cousins, and Kiara basically married her adopted 2nd cousin.

Romeo and Juliet are from Shakespere's greatest tragedies "Romeo and Juliet" it takes place in Italy where two households, Montague and Capulet, hate each other with a passion, but then Romeo, son of the Montague house, and Juliet Capulet, daughter of the Capulet house, fall in love but their love is forbidden because of their families corrosive hatred, so Romeo and Juliet are considered "star-crossed lovers" and so many horrible things were happening because of their families hatred so they had no choice but to commit suicide so they could be together eternally where their families won't come between them.

i loved this movie when i was little! still adore the movie! i loved it before i realized it was basically the stoy of romeo and juliet. and then i read the play adnd fell in love with that. oh my goodness this is such a sweet picture! it actualy makes me wanna tear up a little..
