Miru, Spirit of Empathy
In life she was a spirited botanist who was unfortunately fated to drown beneath the bridge outside of her town. She couldn’t remember her death beyond a fear of water, or her life beyond an intense interest in plants and herbal medicines. Upon returning to the living world as a spirit she spent her time attempting to help out at a church in a town closeby to where she had lived during her mortal days. Eventually someone realised she was dead (it took a while, not something she advertised) and they took her to the magic academy to figure out exactly what she was. Left to her own devices, it turned out she had a tendency to ‘haunt’ places, and has roamed the halls of the academy ever since.
