This stuff was growing all over the place at high altitudes. Not entirely sure what it is but it was quite beautiful.
You can faintly see one of the other mountains near Mount Ruapehu in the background. I didn't get many good shots of it because it essentially looked like a big pile of dirt. I didn't know how to make a dirt pile look good haha
