Description A close up look at the Zebra Swallowtail (Eurytides marcellus). Its the only member of its tribe in North America and is closly related to the Swordtails of Africa and jays of Asia. However, none seem to have the fuzzy head that this little fella does.

Wow... I never realized they were fuzzy... (Next time I see one, I'll try to look at it closer. ^_^" They seem to be getting rare where I live, though...)

Some are fuzzier than others but yes, next time you get a chance take a closer look, you may well be surprised!

Wow! I love this one! The red stripe on the wings is a nice contrast to the black and white. And it's fuzzy!
