I'm still yet to see this 'King' steamed up. The livery applied to 6023 is British Railways express passenger blue. The alternate experimental blue livery had a deep purple hue, likened to the pre-grouping era GER blue, also relating to the livery worn by A1/1 4470 'Great Northern' in her wartime rebuilt form
