Description
It is a drawing of a very famous Chinese actress. The problem is that I chose a photo of her that didnt look very much like her lol.Oh well.
Btw, I have no idea why the scanner didnt completely scan parts of arm...and it died before I could scan another two of my drawings..

I think it's a big problem to chose the right photo. I've drawn Zhang Ziyi too and kind of messed it. Plus the photo wasn't the best either... The true individuality appears when the person moves, you know. Of course, for drawing, it's impossible to capture a moving body... We'll have to put up with that we'll not be able to capture the reality perfectly. ...
I've always liked this actress. I'm not very sure about her talent but at least she can move greatly and she looks very pretty!

Is that Zhang Ziyi? It kinda looks like her but maybe that's just 'cause it doesn't look like the real actress but to me she looks like Zhang Ziyi.
Anyways you did a great job on the face. The shading defines her face beautifullly. i especially like her lips. They are very platic and her eyes look... How can I say? full of life ^-^
However there is something about her body that I don't like. I think the line that is under her arm (armptit) goes too far out. So her whole arm looks like it's out of place. But maybe she just did a weird pose on the photo you used.
Nonetheless it's a good drawing.

well I could see that it was Zhang Ziyi, so I'm guessing you are just more sceptical with your own work than others would be.
