Here is my regional variant of Lanturn!
So a loooooong time ago, I saw a comment on a youtube video with an idea for a Mega Lanturn. This idea was to give Lanturn an ability called "Fish Bait" that could prevent water-types from leaving the battle field. Not only does that idea fit thematically for Lanturn, but an electric type that can trap water types sounded super interesting to me from a competitive perspective.
I couldn't find that comment, but I loved the idea so much I decided to make my own interpretation. Instead of a Mega, I made a regional variant.
Lanturn in the Nahuah Region live close to the ocean's surface, thus their glowing esca doesn't shine so brightly in the sunlight. Thus, it resorts to using a lure shaped like Wishiwashi and ambush in order to catch prey and to defend itself.
