First post on this site. Just wanted to tell you this has become one of my favorite photos amongst thousands I've seen recently.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you create the silhouette affect? I'm going to be shooting one of my friends in a studio, and it's a technique I'd like to try. I'm just not sure how to go about doing it.

You have to light the background and make sure no light falls on the model, except reflection from the background, meter the background and overexpose by one stop - you'll have to play with the model to background distance until you get the effect you want -
