The Daleks! webcast is part of the Time Lord Victorious multi-media thingy that's going on at the moment. These characters also show up in a couple of comics where their appearances is subtly different. I gather the general idea is that these are alternate timeline Daleks, where the Time War didn't occur. Or the Time War is still yet to have happened? The Time War concept kinda messes with linguistic tenses.

First off, we have the Dalek Executioner, a new rank. Using the same general model as the modern-series Daleks, with some minor modifications. No rivets on the skirt bumper, red outlines on the hemispheres, spiky three-clawed manipulator, red eyepiece, yellow dome-lights, and a gray metallic livery rather than the bronze modern or the different paintjobs that classic-era Daleks used.

A Golden Emperor. This character has *history*, as this general shape (A stubby dalek body with a big round head, all done in gold) has been around in comics since 1964. This is the first time I'm aware of it officially showing up in a 'show', even if it's a webcast spin-off. I might model the older comic versions at some point, but those are weird as every artist has drawn it differently, leading to lots of variations.

Decided to throw a regular Dalek Drone in, more for contrast. Same gray metallic livery as the Executioner, except it's blue-themed rather than red.

Oh, and the Dalek Strategist. Basically a Mark I Dalek casing from the original 'Dead Planet' serial but with red paintjob on the shoulders. All rather distressed, rusty and beaten up, as for some reason it's not been allowed to upgrade it's casing to a more modern model.
