Another one of my nextgens!! I've actually posted this one once before, but he's undergone a redesign/name change since I've altered a lot of the backstory in my nextgen au. His headshot was originally designed by White-Canvas-MLP , I just added accessories/designed the body!

Bright Star is the youngest child of Twilight Sparkle and Sunburst, the younger brother of Fizzle Spark , and the younger half-brother of Yorick Elegy . He's a magical prodigy in every way Fizzle Spark isn't, and has been able to do complicated spells with ease ever since childhood. His parents are immensely proud of him and have trained him personally, and were overjoyed when he got a cutie mark in magic at a very young age. As talented as he is, though, he's entirely indifferent to magic, and even resents it a bit since it pulls him away from his real passion, which is engineering. He loves making little machines and tools that work without magic, but he knows others consider it to be a complete waste of his skill. He knows how jealous Fizzle Spark is of him, and he'd like to say that of course he'd give all of his magic to his brother if he could- but in truth, he wouldn't. He may not care about magic, but he cares about power, and he'd rather have a wealth of unused magic than let anyone think of him as powerless. He's a practical, calculating individual who ensures his own well-being whenever possible, so of course he'd never give up something as powerful as his magic just because he doesn't like it.
