I got super lucky to do a last-minute backup April banner for the group; I know this one is a rather big disappointment compared to the one the month started out with (see here: Potater if you missed it) but potato esk really needs a rest after such a busy day sellin familiahs. Súice was a bit short for the Hatchlin she wanted and is no good at haggling :<Since 020 (belonging to Bluebird ) was one of the first esk I ever drew (Pyx on Old Growth feels like ages ago!), and April 1 was my one year dA anniversary, I really wanted to revisit them for this :>

I swear with every single upload you improve more and more, Fiach! ;___; And seeing the first picture you did of 020 only confirms that!
This picture is absolutely beautiful, and it always catches my eye when I click onto the front page. From the delicate way you painted the flowers, to the sharp edges of the leaves, and the rounded shapes of the raindrops... it all just looks absolutely gorgeous! 020 looks perfectly at home among the branches, and I love how it looks like they're peering out from beneath the leaf! ;__; It's such a small, but cute touch! I love it so much.

Goddamn this has such a beautiful and gentle atmosphere. I love the detail put into each rain drop and the depth created by the simple addition of the blurred branches in the background. The soft pink really helps make this piece pop next to all the other dark and unsaturated elements. I love that at first, the esk is easy to overlook but isn't hidden to the point of needing to actively look for it. Such a cute piece ;v;

So gorgeous- I love the way the droplets of water cascade from the leaves- there's this feeling of calm and collection emanating from it, and also vibes of warmth when you look at the esk in the branches- knowing that it's hiding among the flowers and foliage, trying to stay dry. You clearly have a wonderful talent in making beautiful scenes like this, fiachmara .. It's almost like I can hear the rain falling.

This looks lovely! Besides everything else that is beautiful about this (those blossoms! Those raindrops! Those soothing colours!), I also like the branch in the background. It nicely fills up empty space and adds depth (is it weird to compliment someone on a blurred out background branch?)
