"When Ava had reached the zenith, she took a deep breath and let out a long, solemn moan. Riverpaw watched in surprise, wondering how a cat could make such a long, solid sound.
Ava’s call echoed across the mountains, carried by the wind.
When her voice died away, Riverpaw had to catch her before she toppled off the boulder. Grabbing her scruff, Riverpaw dragged her to the center of the rock and hunched over her, wind buffeting them from every angle it seemed.
Suddenly, a cry sounded, and Riverpaw looked around, eyes wide. She was calling her friends!"

My entry for contest!
It's the scene when River helped Ava to flee, and she's calling her friends by howling like a wolf.
I just loved the thought of a cat that behaves like a wolf
I know it wasn't raining. And ACTUALLY there should only be a few raindrops. In the end I drew a storm, sorry....

Thanks to the contest, I finally started reading Scarlet River. And it's awesome, I should have done that before XD And there are definitely some more scenes I'd love to draw. So if it's ok, be prepared, there'll come more River Spirit fan art >:3

Mmh, actually I'm not happy with this. I can draw better. Or let's say, it's not the drawing I don't like, it's more view and stuff. And that's what this contest is about, don't? XD
