A Mexican Wolf taking a little siesta in the sun on a comfortable, early summer afternoon. Mexican Wolves tend to be a bit smaller and I do believe they are the smallest Gray Wolf subspecies in North America, but boy are they pretty. They've got some great color variations on them that makes them absolutely a delight to watch. They are, unfortunately, also critically endangered. They have been for quite some time now. It would be nice to see these wolves get back on their feet and populate, again, in the wild. © 2011-Current.
