I remember seeing snow leopards in the entrance to the Pittsburgh Zoo, when we lived out there. They were always lively and entertaining.

They can oftentimes be lazy cats (big surprise there), but if they were adolescents they might have had more energy. They're usually solitary so seeing them together is rare.

The Pittsburgh Zoo had them together behind glass in an enclosure near the entrance. Yes, as I recall, they were young 'uns!

What a great shot! Them snow leopards are a pain to photograph! (The one at my local zoo is always in a place you can't see him!)

Well, I'm out of luck then! The zoo that has them is a half hour away and we never go before lunch. (The zoo opens at 9:30 a.m. Getting there at that time would take a miracle!) I'll just have to be happy with the pictures I've been able to get. Thanks for the tip though.

The place closes at 5 and we're never there more than two hours at most. (It's a privately owned zoo and it's closed on Sundays.) Let's put it this way, if it's meant to be that I get an amazing picture one of these days, I'll get an amazing picture one of these days.
