No, it was 2004, which was the last and only time I've been able to make it to Plantersville. Every year since, I seem to have assignments that keep me from going back.

The fire is just amzing, great amount of tilt. The light is just enough to see the man blowing it. Great work, keep them coming

Thank you so much! I had a blast (pun intended) shooting the firebreathers. So much so, I've already decided to return next year!

Astonishing...& looses nothing though you daringly(I think ) included the entire flame burst in the crop...You really blow me away sometimes...I'd have shyed away from that in painting for fear of it appearing to flat...The way YOU'VE done it, though~ I couldn't imagine it any other way

Thanks again! You're right, it would be really easy for a shot like this to appear too flat. I think its saving grace is the fact that there is a lot of visible detail in the flame, which helps it to maintain its depth and not to appear as a two-dimensional shape, rather than a three-dimensional plume!

lol~ yes It's a very exciting plume, at that...

So ENTHUSIASTIC about you're work~ that's great...I feel honored you'd share that with me

Thanks mate! I really enjoyed these shots. And to think, I almost didn't get up out of my chair to go and see what all the noise was about! Here's to conquering laziness!
