there's an interesting story about this picture i think.
i came home from work last night and my hair was ugly and wet from the rain.
i decided to take pictures because i thought it was funny
and i think it's stupid to always try to take photographs of myself to feel beautiful ...
to try to capture something i don't necessarely see when i look in the mirror.
and maybe stop being so hard on myself about the way i look...

i took this shot with my 50mm and my yellow filter for some reasons.
i wanted to try something new i guess.

i thought it was a funny shot.
and as i started working with it in photoshop
i realized that it made me think a lot about a wonderful comic book that i just started to read: The Sandman .
I think i look like him on this picture and it made me like it ever more because of that.

i wanted to bring something good out of the fact that my hair looked so messy and my eyes so tired.
and i think i succeeded.

and I want to write one perfect song
to make you cry in your sleep
kind of like a soundtrack for your dreams
to let you know I'm watching and making sure it's alright
it'll be alright

I guess I wanted to make you feel something
I wanted to make you feel everything

I don't believe in beautiful people
and I don't believe in me

I wonder what it's like to be in between...
