I really like this picture. This is a usual and yet unusual picture. When I see a decorated animal curled up, I can usually expect blood. In this case, it caught my eye as having no blood. I was impressed.
Proving once more that while you can clearly see that this character is distressed (sorry for the technical terms) your not sure of what. It is NOT obvious!! And that is why I love it. You have to wonder what is wrong, what is making this character have a look helplessness, or of no hope. Alone curled, up, no tears but still the almost blank gaze is haunting. What has so horribly struck him that he looks like a lost soul.
Very well done. I appluad you. Weather this was all instinct or intentional I still love it.
