Wow I really like these. I wonder if this is how extradimensional/extraplanar beings would perceive the bioelectric fields of interaction between insects. Just in terms of the like-mindedness, coordination and dance they have between themselves, and as a whole. Harmonious color being regulated emotion, and metallic sheen being unification of nature/intent.

Um, your entire Bryce section is very nice!

Not sure if the hive is so articulated, but to summarize the
intent of the picture, I was boldly going for the alien element
of it, that's were the sheen and glossiness comes in.
Dragonflies have a very unique eye-build, if you look at some
of the macro pictures you notice, how intriguing the reflections
in their prismatic eyes are.
So yes I have a mix of few ideas, whichever you feel and receive,
surly could be one of them

Yup -the reflective materials and the lights do a lot for the image

That is one of the best things about Bryce, I think, is the way it does reflections. It does coloured glass really well too.

I know - I wanna play with doing some scenes as well
glass, mirrors ...little different then other 3D softwares I used before,
but I'll manage

yeahh just playing with some shapes - I think I might do one which looks more
like the original see if works
