Super Sonic in Forces is arguably really pointless. None of the stages are long enough for him to really show off his benefits beyond invincibility and infinite boost, the choice of choosing WHEN to transform is taken away from you, and he's not very different from normal Sonic at all.

The only reason why he's even in this game is just because all the post-Colors game restarted the tradition of having Super Sonic in the mainline Sonic games, and even then he almost didn't make it in. In fact, he's still just downloadable content. Free downloadable content, but still.

But hey, we can always laugh at how the Avatar somehow manages to keep up with Super Sonic despite the latter being the fastest thing alive and the Avatar being a pretty wimpy dude. Ah, the wonders of video games!
