Commissioned byA three character drawing of the patron's fan fiction, if I understand it correctly. The one on the left is Rei, the center one Shinji, and the rightmost figure is Misato. Shinji and Misato have been put into clone bodies of Rei but at different ages.
From what little I remember of NGE, that seems to check out.
