It's a really cute concept, but why are the dresses so similar in style? Dresses come in all shapes and sizes, surely you could find dresses that would suit the characters better? This isn't meant to be an attack, I'm just thinking you can do better with your skills than re-using the same dress template with slight alterations. If you'd like, I could provide examples of what I mean.

I mostly use the same design to keep the aesthetic in line with Princess Peach. Without reading the story that it comes from, I'd like a viewer to know what is going on right by looking at my drawing; this is a female version of (Mario/Link/whatever character), and they have a Princess Peach dress based off of their old clothes.
The Bowsette/Super Crown artwork generally takes a different approach; You're looking a version of Peach that has a few physical traits of (Bowser/Boo/whatever character), and has a dress that fits their style, which may or may not resemble Peach's dress. So instead of the dresses always looking the same, it's the person who looks the same (again, this varies since so many different artists work on these pieces, but that's the general idea).
You're right that a little more variety wouldn't hurt their designs, but stated simply; I prioritize changing the character before the dress.

I think Kirby is the cutest. Fox is nice too, but for some reason, her one eye makes me her feel odd.
