Description I really wanted to get back to doing art that has a CONCEPT. The concept here is 'liars'.
I used to do a bunch of creepy horror type art so I miss it

I did this in SAI and I followed this tutorial -> [link] by

The tool I used for the base sketch was the marker tool.
I created my own brush for the other steps. One has like a blendable charcoal look. I also used the marker tool.
I added some leaking texture from CGTextures.com

This is pretty amazing. I just wasted one hour (again) on that tutorial and didn't come up with anything decent. It looks so promising, I just can't make it work. Kudos to you!

Aw thanks! Hmm, using brushes with a lot of different textures seems to make my pictures look a lot more interesting opposed to the ones I do with regular brushes. And making the brush strokes visible and not completely blending everything.
