As ~danitzh says, think about your backgrounds. Plan your pictures. Take several pictures. Then pick the one you think is best. For every photo I post I probably have ten that I don't. Give yourself options.

So you're more or less gorgeous. I've told you this before, right? If not, I really should have made this evident a while ago...
And, so this post isn't JUST swooning and all of the associated things, I really like the pose and your posture in this one, it's a bit different than most other positions I've seen in self portraits, and I like it. Next time though, you might want to put something like a sheet, or anything to diffuse the light between yourself and whatever your light source is, to cut down on the hard shadow right behind you. I love the shot though.

As for the sheet, your best bet would be to experiment wifh a few things, sheets, nylon, different fabrics that allow some sort of translucent diffusion.
