Originally meant to be upside down, as in him standing on the ceiling looking down at you, but I found it a bit too confusing to look at.Doesn't he just stare into your soul?

Tablet in Photoshop for that one. Some of the older stuff was done by pencil first but all the new stuff is all done on tablet.

I like how you morphed the inhuman design with the human traits. I can definitely tell it's him. 
For the main villain (and one that had so much terrifying potential) he was seriously neglected in the anime. Nine episodes out of one hundred?! C'mon!

And I agree with you, Nightmare had the potential there but it is a kids show..and I think they realized that they couldn't make him as scary as they wanted. Any time he did appear it made a nice creepy effect..like he sped up the comet that was heading for Dreamland. That string of episodes was kinda creepy/scary.
