Looks like just a photoop of some of their enhanced-maneuverability research aircraft. the F/A-18 (actually a heavily redone prototype #6) was used as a high angle of attack research vehicle, with nose strakes and exhaust vanes (the scheme's late in testing.) The X-31 was specially built (and IIRC ran tailless at one point.) And the VISTA F-16 tested a vectoring nozzle (also voice input and a "virutal" heads up display... both of which are supposedly part of the F-35 now.)
