Description
Kuroten is the wise monk serving the Kokutan clan. No one really knows how old he is, some say he may be as old as three hundred.
Kuroten is wise, and rarely speaks unless he has something concrete to say. Even when he does, he often uses Zen and counter-sensual maxims that are mysterious and unintelligible. If his speech is direct, then it means the situation is quite serious.

Kutoten belongs to the clergy of the Reidō religion, the path of enlightenment, but declined according to the demonic nature.
Besides being an expert connoisseur of mantras (i.e. magic formulas), the old demon is also the possessor of the demonic staff 'Kaho' (Ghostwalker), which is said to have power over the spirits of the dead.
Prince Sujin has no more trusted and loyal advisor.
