Dashpaw ran threw the forest as fast as his legs could carry him, he jumped over logs and swerved around rocks. Lately a lot of cat have been falling ill and the medicine cat haven't been able to find out what is causing this illness and the medicine cats have started to feel its effects. Moonstar great leader of the mighty Moonclan has sent the remaining healthy cats to other clans to seek out answers and Dashpaw was sent to rain clan to seek answers to the illness.

Dashpaw ran as far as he could until he crossed rainclan territory and was stopped by a patrol asking what his business with Rainclan was and he explained Moonclans current situation, the patrol cats were astonished by this information and brought Dashpaw to the glorious leader that ruled Rainclan, Rainstar. Rainstar looked down at the young apprentice confused wondering why Moonstar would send someone so young to his borders, Dashpaw looked up to Rainstar and told the leader of the tragedy that plagues Moonclan and pleaded hoping Rainstar would have an answer but atlas Rainstar answered that Rainclan had no such cure to aid in Moonclans devastation.

Rainstar showed Dashpaw to the medicine cat den and as Dashpaw explained the symptoms to them they had no idea what kind of illness would be causing that but they gave him a few herbs that would normal heal certain symptoms that moonclans cats are showing, he respectfully bowed to Rainstar and the medicine cats in thanks and begun his journey home hoping some how these herbs will help.
