What's the length of the keyblade and the width of both the teeth and handle if you dont mind me asking?

What wood do you use for your keyblades if you don't mind me asking?

For everything from the young xehanort keyblade and earlier i used plywood because it's cheap, easy to carve, and the layers show if sections are even or where they are in relation to other areas. Now i tend to use pine for large pieces and poplar for durable yet light pieces. Mmm poplar

Thanks for the information. It had to be pretty thick Plywood though, hm? Like 4 ply? 3/4 of an inch?

Thanks, working on a third one as we speak and hopefully getting an airbrush for the glow in the dark paint. Also might make a mold for it eventually so it isnt a pain to make everytime. Just so detailed and so many things can go wrong.

I didnt realize it till i made a kingdom key, that it's actually a harder one to make if you're trying to make it look like the real deal. The oathkeeper, star seeker, and lionheart were all a little easier.

I just used a dowel rod rather than gluing and shaving all that wood down.

Yeah i just got lucky and happened to buy a lather for a past project, so i didnt have to put too much effort in and got a perfectly round pole.

Oops, i meant a lathe. It spins a piece of wood between two points and you use chisels and gouges to shave it down to a round pole and shape it. Ued for table legs, trident poles, candlesticks...

Thanks! I actually found a good deal on a glow in the dark sky blue/aqua that glows for 10 hours and is a light blue/clear in daylight. It'll be perfect.

Thanks! The timing on when i would start making it decides price now, because i dont know how much casting resin i'll have left after this. Estimated cost would be around $400 now. I dont think it will go any higher until i decide to raise my prices a little again, which wont be for a little while.
