Well then, here's another character to cross off my bucket list.

Can anyone please explain to me as to why Whitney is considered to be a hard Gym Leader? I mean, as a kid I beated her easily and when I replayed the Pokemon Gold on the 3DS I still beat her. Is it something to do with the remakes? Though I recall when I was a kid I was confused as to why she never gave me the gym badge right after winning against her.

Which in turn the inspiration behind this pic, where after beating her, in a fit of anger, Whitney shrinks the protagonist and goes to stomp him while her fellow gym trainers try to stop her.
