Actually, I haven't seen that drawing before. Glad I have now.

And yeah, what HAVEN'T I played in the Castlevania series? Vampire Killer on MSX, Haunted Castle, Harmony of Despair, Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate, and Lords of Shadow 2. Actually, the first Castlevania I ever played... was Castlevania 64. I kid you not.

That's... actually the same ones I haven't played. But also add the first Lords of Shadow, that first N64 game, the cell phone game Order of Shadows, Judgment, Saturn SotN, SNES Dracula X and the other two arcade versions. Wow, you've played more than me!


The only thing I find unbelievable is the first N64 Castlevania came out only a few months after Zelda OoT, so I would've figured you'd still be busy with the latter back then. But I've played Legacy of Darkness and loved it. Came the closest to what I expected from a 3D Castlevania. My first taste was renting the NES original as a kid, but only got really into it much, much later. Did you get hooked with the first N64 one, or was it later?

Yep, Castlevania 64 (as well as Legacy of Darkness) finally got me into the series. I had known about the NES games, but my Mom and Dad wouldn't buy them because they were afraid I'd start whipping everyone, throwing bottles of water, have nightmares from even the slightest sighting of monsters and/or blood, etc.
