I spent about two hours on a charcoal tonal today and it ended being a big blur. I'm already back to practicing in the sketchbook.

Thanks! Yeah charcoal is tricky. I hardly ever use it but now I feel more confident with it. I think improving my skills with graphite somehow prepared me for charcoal.
